Vaclav vytlacil biography for kids

In 1916 Vytlacil accepted a five-year teaching position at the Minneapolis School of Art that enabled him to go to Europe to study the Old Masters and Cézanne. After traveling to Prague, Dresden and Berlin, he enrolled in 1921 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich where American artists Ernest Thurn and Worth Ryder were fellow students.
